Andrew Pierce, Ashley Hudson and the Hamburg community knew that they would not return to the past. Ashley Hudson was just 17 years old and hadn't ever had a relationship previously, so they took it slow. They fell in love with each other at first glance. The day before New Day, right prior to the beginning of 2016, Andrew wanted God to bless him with one last thing that was to come... to ensure that Ashley would say yes and marry him. Ashley wanted an elegant wedding that was a folk-inspired wedding. It was crucial for her to ensure that the wedding was a reflection of both Andrew and Ashley. Andrew and Ashley incorporated their most loved things to create the perfect wedding. Ashley was born on 40 acres. They walked from the path down to the field the couple said I do in. Ashley had explored and played around on it. Andrew and Ashley were walking through the same area when they were together. The importance of personalization was that almost all of the decorations were made by the groom and bride. Ashley painted and made some of the decorations, and Andrew and Ashley's dad designed the seating area and the ceremony arch. Ashley claims that we might have never had the magic wedding I had imagined if it wasn't for Anna's floral designs. Truly amazing.
